Imagine being taken from your home with no idea when or if you will be back. You can not kiss your spouse goodbye, you can not finish that project at work, you can not take any photos or belongings with you. You don't know who you are with or where you are going. You feel terrified and alone.
That is the reality almost 40 children in Texas alone face EACH DAY when they enter the foster care system. Most of them are taken to safe places like PCHAS, where they receive loving care and nurture until they can be reunified with their families. In those stressful days and weeks, PCHAS helps them find hope.
